On September 10-15, Khudoyorkhon residence, which is located in the Central Park of Kokand, will host the First International Festival of Handicrafters.

The festival will gather masters of folk crafts, representatives of culture from around the world. More than 1000 artisans from Uzbekistan and participants from more than 60 countries will attend the event.

The festival will contribute to further development of handicraft and popularization of artisans’ products, development of both internal and external tourism.

Participants will become acquainted with ancient craft machines, the process of manufacturing products, visit the exhibition and sale, watch thematic films and documentaries, books, albums and photographs. The national treasure, jewelry and clothes, will be demonstrated.

In the future, the festival is planned to be held every two years.
