JSC Uzbekhydroenergo pays great attention to the construction of new hydropower facilities based on investment projects, in particular, the construction of new hydroelectric power plants, taking into account modern requirements, the implementation of modernization projects, the construction of promising micro- and small hydropower plants.
According to the JSC Uzbekhydroenergo, on February 8, another event was held in India’s New Delhi, within the framework of bilateral cooperation.

Chairman of MACLEC Narayan Bhardwaj and Chairman of the Board of JSC Uzbekhydroenergo Abdugani Sanginov focused on the prospects for cooperation.
A historic agreement was reached at the event. A contract was signed for the supply to Uzbekistan of innovative hydroelectric units with kinetic turbines with a capacity of 50 MW, manufactured by MACLEC Technical Project Laboratory Private Limited.

The main aspect of this cooperation is that at the first stage, 60 percent of hydroelectric units with tests in the conditions of Uzbekistan will be localized. In the second stage, production will be localized by 100 percent, and Indian engineers will be attracted to permanent work in Uzbekistan and train local specialists in the production of hydroelectric units.
