JSC Thermal Power Plants plans to receive international credit ratings of the Big Three companies, in particular, such as Standard & Poors, Moody’s and Fitch Ratings by the end of 2022.

The partnership has been established to receive international credit ratings with KPMG, which is part of the Big Four.

A meeting of the working group led by the Chairman of the Board of JSC Thermal Power Plants with representatives of KPMG took place.

According to JSC Thermal Power Plants Press Service, the parties identified priority tasks for obtaining an international rating and discussed the necessary measures for their implementation, their stages.

The expansion of access to international financial markets is achieved, as well as the investment attractiveness of the company in attracting foreign investors is increasing by obtaining international credit ratings.

KPMG also evaluates the fixed assets of JSC Thermal Power Plants and its member enterprises to determine their objective value, under international financial reporting standards.
