Introduction of advanced practices from European nations and Iran to Bukhara region
Bukhara region’s Hokim Botir Zaripov met with the leadership of the Iranian agricultural machinery manufacturer SamArian, as well as the Netherlands-based Gold BV, a company involved in seed production and nursery farming.
During the meeting, the parties discussed broadening their mutually beneficial cooperation in agriculture, including the adoption of modern technologies and the implementation of investment projects.
The Iranian specialist proposed promising business plans for producing agricultural machinery and equipment in Bukhara region, focusing on localizing manufacturing and supplying products directly to farms. The project aims to produce modern, affordable equipment designed specifically for the agricultural sector’s needs.

The Head of Bukhara region praised these initiatives and expressed a willingness to collaborate. He highlighted Iran’s extensive experience in agriculture, noting many opportunities for partnership in livestock, poultry, and fish farming, as well as processing and trade.
In the discussion with an entrepreneur from the Netherlands, the parties thoroughly explored the growth of export-focused floriculture in Bukhara region with European technologies, the cultivation of high-yield potato varieties, and collaboration in seed production.

During the meetings, foreign investors praised Bukhara region’s economic potential, its favorable investment climate, and the opportunities it offers for entrepreneurs. The parties committed to enhancing practical cooperation to execute promising projects, promote technology transfer, and generate new employment opportunities.
