International energy efficiency project to be implemented in Nukus
With support from the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), the modernization of an apartment building in Kuk Uzak mahalla of Nukus has begun at the request of the Nukus branch of the Executive Committee of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea.
Following the tender, the cost of the construction works totaled UZS 5 billion 764 million 103 thousand. The project includes modern thermal insulation of the building, reinforcement of the roof and facade with energy-efficient materials, modernization of utility networks, and replacement of the existing windows with energy-saving ones.

According to experts, the introduction of such energy-efficient solutions will not only significantly reduce the consumption of natural resources but also lower harmful emissions into the atmosphere, thereby contributing to an improvement in the environmental situation.
