International dialogue on security issues

The first SCO Plus Expert Dialogue on Security Issues has opened in Samarkand.

The event, titled “Security in the era of digital transformation: countering terrorism and extremism in light of new technological developments”, is being held under the chairmanship of Colonel General B. Kurbonov, Head of the State Security Service of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

At the opening of the meeting, V. Makhmudov, Secretary of the Security Council under the President of Uzbekistan, read out an address from President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to participants of the international dialogue.

The meeting is attended by heads and representatives of the special services of SCO member states, observer states and dialogue partners, as well as representatives of international organizations and guests.
