The Minister of Preschool and School Education Ezoza Karimova held a series of meetings with foreign partners.

In particular, during her conversation with Yousef Al-Otaibi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of Uzbekistan, the parties discussed attracting investment and grant projects to the preschool and school education sectors, enhancing the professional qualifications of teaching staff, and cooperation in developing educational infrastructure.

A meeting was also held with Sabine Machl, UN Resident Coordinator in Uzbekistan. The sides exchanged views on ongoing cooperation with the organization in the field of preschool and school education, particularly on projects implemented jointly with UNESCO, UNICEF, UNDP, and other international institutions.

In addition, Minister Ezoza Karimova discussed aspects of partnership and plans with Walid Fouque, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The Ambassador highly appreciated the reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan’s education system and expressed readiness to cooperate in areas such as the further promotion of the French language, professional development of teachers, and the establishment of student exchange programs.
