International conference explores the development of digital educational content
The National Institute of Pedagogy of Education named after Kari Niyazi hosted an international conference on “Improving international standards for digital content focused on personal education and mechanisms for its implementation in practice”.
The event was attended by representatives of organizations within the system of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as professors, teachers, researchers, undergraduates, and students of higher educational institutions in Uzbekistan.
The discussions focused on developing educational digital content based on modern pedagogical and psychological approaches, effectively integrating it into the educational process, and evaluating its impact on the cognitive, emotional, and moral development of young people.
In addition, the forum focused on ensuring information security, protecting children and youth from harmful content, and promoting national and universal values in the digital space.
The forum addressed key issues such as standardizing digital educational content and establishing methods for its creation, evaluating its pedagogical, psychological, and moral impact, making effective use of the digital ecosystem and technological capabilities, and ensuring information security. The agenda also included training qualified personnel, developing the necessary competencies, and strengthening interdisciplinary cooperation.
It is expected that the development of new standards and regulatory mechanisms for digital educational and instructional content will expand opportunities for the growth of the national digital education market, support for local IT startups and EdTech projects, and the creation of export-oriented pedagogical products.
