Information centers of Margilan started actively working on providing services to tourists arriving in historical city, known as “Silk workshop” of Uzbekistan.

Pursuant to the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures of ensuring accelerated development of domestic tourism” No.3514 of February 7, 2018, stationary and mobile information centers, providing tourists with tourist maps, information about catering facilities, accommodation facilities, as well as allowing to call a taxi, buy entrance tickets for cultural heritage sites and museums, souvenirs, sim-cards and other essentials have been established in Margilan city of Fergana region.

According to the State Committee for Tourism Development, information centers, recently established for providing services to tourists, are located on an accessible place – at the railway station of Margilan city, as well as on the territory of Kum-Tepa market.
