International experts are studying the activities of local enterprises as part of reforms aimed at modernizing Uzbekistan’s oil and gas industry and increasing production capacity.
For this purpose, foreign independent members of the Supervisory Board of Uzbekneftegaz JSC visited the Bukhara Oil Refinery. Alex Barry Melnikovich from the United States and Thomas Melvin Quigley from the UK were introduced to the plant’s production facilities, technological processes, modernization programs, and investment projects.
According to the company, this event aims to develop proposals and recommendations to improve the Bukhara Oil Refinery’s production efficiency, update its infrastructure, and optimize its production processes.
The parties discussed the introduction of energy-saving technologies, industrial safety, and labor protection.
As is known, the company consistently continues to work to ensure a safe working environment, and the established measures are strictly observed.
The delegation members were informed about the enterprise’s leading production indicators, product types, and export potential. They highly appreciated the technological solutions implemented at the plant and noted that the company is developing in accordance with international standards.
