People’s artist of Uzbekistan Tora Quryozov’s exhibition entitled “Pages of history” has been arranged in the central hall of exhibitions of the Art Academy of Uzbekistan.

The chairman of the Art Academy, A.Nuriddinov, and others said that in this country constant attention was paid to giving comprehensive support and encouragement to creative workers and inspiring them to create new works of art.

Among works of art by T.Quryozov, who just turned 80, works about historical topics have a special place.

This artist says: History points to our national identity and roots and calls on us to be worthy of the Motherland and our great ancestors.

His works depicting ordinary people, their concerns and them going about their daily tasks are also widely displayed at the exhibition. This exhibition has nearly 200 works of art, including works entitled “Jaloliddin’s portrait”, “Golden Khiva”, “Master of old melodies”, “Jumagul” and “Family”.
