Surkhandarya region is developing and flourishing year after year.

Over the past eight years, 7,454 projects worth $4.3 billion have been implemented in the region, and 101,000 jobs have been created as part of the regional investment program.

According to the regional hokimiyat, 519 projects worth $740 million are being implemented as part of the regional investment program planned for the current year. In eight months, 376 projects worth $375 million have been implemented, and more than 9,000 jobs have been created. The analysis of these data by industry shows that 163 projects worth $194 million have employed 3,610 people. 169 projects worth $147 million have been implemented in the service sector, and $34 million has been invested in 44 agricultural projects.

By the end of the year, another 241 investment projects worth $545 million are planned to be launched, creating 8,800 jobs in the region.
