How many foreign athletes will defend Uzbekistan’s honor at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games?
The number of foreign athletes who will defend the honor of Uzbekistan at the 33rd Summer Olympic Games, which will be held in Paris, France, has been announced.
According to the National Olympic Committee, 8 foreign athletes will compete for medals under the flag of Uzbekistan.
In the pentathlon competitions will be Alice Fakhrutdinova, cycling – Olga Zabelinskaya, rowing – Anna Prakaten, freestyle wrestling – Razambek Jamalov and Javrail Shapiev, Greco-Roman wrestling – Rustam Assakalov, diving – Igor Myalin, swimming – Ilya Sibirtsev.
At the Summer Olympic Games, which will begin in 9 days, 90 athletes from Uzbekistan got the right to participate in 75 programs in 19 sports.
