Historical results set the stage for future success

Uzbekistan’s young boxers, who secured historic achievements at the Asian U19 and U23 Boxing Championships in Jakarta, received a ceremonial welcome at Islam Karimov International Airport in Tashkent.

Deputy Minister of Sports Shakhrillo Mahmudov, Head of a Center at the Ministry of Defense Colonel Mansur Mamadaminov, and Deputy Chairman of the Uzbekistan Boxing Federation Saken Polatov noted that members of the youth and junior national teams achieved a record result, winning 21 gold, 6 silver, and 6 bronze medals.

This clearly highlights the potential of the Uzbek boxing school and its ongoing success internationally.
