The U23 World Wrestling Championships are underway in Novi Sad, Serbia, with 255 wrestlers from 44 countries competing.

Athletes representing Uzbekistan in Greco-Roman wrestling claimed three medals: Abror Otaboyev won silver, while Khojiakbar Kuchkarov and Mehroj Bahromov earned bronze. In the overall team rankings among 23 participating nations, Uzbekistan placed sixth.

The top five teams were Iran, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Georgia, and Armenia.
On October 25, winners and medalists in women’s wrestling will be determined, and competitions will continue in several weight categories in freestyle wrestling.
