Berlin hosted a Cultural and Enlightenment Event on “The Priceless Heritage of Uzbekistan”.

At the event, which included a delegation from the National University of Uzbekistan, Uzbekistan youth studying in Germany, and German experts, Ambassador Dilshod Akhatov stressed that cooperation between the two countries is strengthening year after year, especially in education.

Ms. Raima Shirinova, Vice-Rector of the National University of Uzbekistan for International Relations, noted that the 43rd Session of the UNESCO General Conference, to be held in Samarkand in 2025, will have historical significance.

The protection of the intangible cultural heritage of Uzbekistan, included in the UNESCO Representative List, an exhibition of pottery, works of Uzbek national fine art, miniatures, Uzbek national dishes, and sweets were presented.

Uzbekistan’s artists presented a musical program.
