Fruits and berries’ harvesting in Uzbekistan reaches almost 3.5 million tons
Fruit and berry cultivation is important not only to ensure people’s food security but also to stimulate sustainable economic growth in the agricultural sector.
According to the National Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in 2025, 3,479,624 tons of fruits and berries were grown by all categories of farms in the country.
This figure increased by 6.4 percent compared to the same period last year.
The volume of fruits and berries grown by region:
Karakalpakstan – 79,975 tons
Andijan region – 751,887 tons
Bukhara region – 312,996 tons
Jizzakh region – 111,228 tons
Kashkadarya region – 215,248 tons
Navoi region – 114,021 tons
Namangan region – 416,146 tons
Samarkand region – 408,356 tons
Surkhandarya region – 194,837 tons
Syrdarya region – 51,577 tons
Tashkent region – 159,493 tons
Fergana region – 472,969 tons
Khorezm region – 189,940 tons
Tashkent city – 951 tons.
