Flash mob held ahead of the championship

Today in Tashkent, as part of the 15th World Taekwondo Junior Championships, a meeting of the World Taekwondo Federation’s General Assembly will take place.

Officials from more than 100 countries will attend the event.

A flash mob dedicated to the upcoming world championship and to promoting taekwondo was held at the capital’s Olympic City. Taekwondo athletes from Uzbekistan and South Korea took part in the demonstration performances. They showcased impressive technical elements and combinations, demonstrating a high level of skill. The vibrant performances energized participants and filled them with positive emotions ahead of the competition.

As part of the flash mob, regional branches that achieved significant success in sports activities in 2025 were honored. Young athletes were presented with gifts.

The championship will take place from April 12 to 17 at the Olympic City’s specialized martial arts complex.
