First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bahromjon Aloyev met with Barbara Janusz-Pawletta, IWMI Country Representative for Uzbekistan and Head of the Regional Representative Office for Central Asia.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, the meeting focused on priority areas of cooperation, including the joint implementation of projects in efficient water resource management, water quality improvement, and introducing innovative technologies in agriculture. 

Special attention was given to the exchange of knowledge and experience between Uzbekistan’s scientific and educational institutions and IWMI.
