Education and financial services lead growth in Uzbekistan’s service sector
According to preliminary data from the National Statistics Committee, the total volume of market services provided in Uzbekistan in January 2026 reached 80.5 trillion UZS.
The fastest-growing segments of the service sector were education and financial services. Growth rates by category are as follows:

Financial services – 120.2%
Accommodation and food services – 117.3%
Trade services – 116.8%
Communication and informatization services – 113.3%
Other services – 112.7%
Rental services – 110.9%
Repair of computers and household goods – 110.6%
Real estate services – 110.5%
