On May 3, the 41st meeting of the Coordinating Commission began its work in Dushanbe.

The meeting is attended by representatives of Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan electric power organizations, as well as heads and specialists of the State Unitary Enterprise “National Dispatch Center” under the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Coordinating Dispatch Centre “Energiya”.

The participants discussed the work carried out in the autumn/winter season of 2022-2023 and the shortcomings. The agenda of the energy meeting also included issues of water management in the 2023 irrigation season, prevention of energy shortages and major accidents occurring in the region, long-term plans for cooperation, and measures to prepare for the autumn/winter season of 2023-2024.

The experts from the energy sector of other countries are attending the meeting via videoconference.
