Uzbekistan’s Diyora Keldiyorova reached tatami in the last decisive final Paris 2024 Olympic Games match in the women’s -52 kg weight category.

Diyora Keldiyorova and Distria Krasniqi from Kosovo competed in this final match for the Olympic championship. Uzbekistan’s judoka won the fierce and uncompromising competition and the gold medal, opening a new page in the history of judo sports.

This medal of Diyora Keldiyorova, who earned the trust of Uzbekistan people with her high skills, went down in history as not only the first medal at this year’s Olympic Games, but also the first medal won by Uzbek women in judo.

Amandine Buchard from France and Larissa Pimenta from Brazil were awarded bronze medals for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
