Diplomatic relations established with Palau
A meeting between Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov and Palau’s Minister of State Gustav Aitaro took place in New York. Following the talks, the parties signed a Joint Communiqué establishing diplomatic relations between the two countries, Uzbekistan MFA reports.
“This important step not only reflects our mutual commitment to developing relations, but also opens the door to a promising future of cooperation and partnership”, Mr. Saidov said.
The Foreign Minister also noted that Uzbekistan looks forward to exploring new opportunities and building strong, long-term ties with Palau.
