The country’s permanent population stood at 38,236.7 thousand people.
Women accounted for 18,979.0 thousand people (49.6%), while men totaled 19,257.7 thousand (50.4%).
The urban population reached 19,471.7 thousand, compared with 18,765.0 thousand in rural areas.
During the reporting period, 267.1 thousand marriages and 46.9 thousand divorces were registered.
