A delegation led by the President of the Beijing People’s Police College Wu Wei visited Uzbekistan. The guests got acquainted with the activities of the Academy of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The delegation representatives were informed about modern educational processes, the specifics of training for bachelor’s and master’s degrees, advanced approaches to training professional personnel, the Academy’s scientific potential, and international cooperation.

After inspecting the information and resource center, educational buildings, special equipment, and sports complex, the guests highly appreciated the modern training areas and the conditions created for cadets.

After this, the delegation members held a bilateral meeting. They exchanged information on the current state and prospects of relations between Uzbekistan and China, which are priority areas for strengthening cooperation in the global environment.

The head of the Academy, Rustam Khotamov, noted that a new format of multifaceted cooperation between the two countries has been formed, and mutually beneficial relations have reached the level of strategic partnership.

It was noted that in recent years, the exchange of experience with leading Chinese higher education institutions has expanded, and the importance of further developing cooperation in this area was emphasized.

At the meeting, the President of the Beijing People’s Police College delivered a speech and noted that the two countries have strong ties based on mutual trust and respect.

At the meeting, the issues of signing a memorandum between the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Beijing People’s Police College, establishing cooperation in education, scientific research, and other areas, and studying the parties’ advanced approaches were discussed.

The delegation members also met with the head of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Tashkent City, Major General Aziz Tashpulatov. The importance of exchanging experience in ensuring public safety and combating crime, the widespread introduction of digital technologies in the activities of law enforcement agencies, and jointly organizing advanced training courses was emphasized. After that, the guests visited the Information Multimedia Center and the Museum of Glory.

The guests also visited Samarkand, the Department for Safe Tourism, and the city’s cultural heritage sites and attractions. 

The delegation was greatly impressed by Uzbekistan’s tourism potential, safe tourist conditions, and large-scale reforms implemented in the internal affairs agencies.
