Kurash specialists from various countries are discussing this topic at a conference in Tashkent.

The participants are addressing key issues related to the development of kurash, strengthening its position at the Asian Games, and the creation of academic literature in this field.

The event brings together representatives of the International Kurash Association, the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the National Olympic Committee, the Uzbekistan Kurash Federation, as well as scholars and experts from the International Kurash Institute and the Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sports.

During the discussions, it was noted that in today’s era of globalization, steps are being taken to include kurash among Olympic sports, promote it more widely among youth, and improve both theoretical and practical training processes through modern technologies and communication systems.

The event also featured a critical review of existing challenges, unresolved issues, ongoing tournaments and championships, the training process, and efforts to strengthen the material and technical base of kurash.
