The contribution of the great scientists to world civilization is being studied, cultural and scientific values stored abroad are being returned to Uzbekistan.

Facsimile copies of historical manuscripts related to Uzbekistan’s cultural legacy: “At-Tafhim” by Abu Rayhan Beruni and “Shahnameh” by Abulkasim Firdousi, were handed over to the Director of the Center for Islamic Civilization Firdavs Abdukhalikov.

Abu Rayhan Beruni made a great contribution to the development of world science with his works and scientific discoveries. His work “At-Tafhim”, translated in 1197, is recognized as an important source in world science.

Firdousi’s “Shahnameh” was rewritten in the 15th century based on the traditions of the art of the Timurid era. The work displays elements characteristic of Kamoliddin Behzod’s school of miniature painting.
