A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Country Office in Uzbekistan and the Uzdavyerloyiha State Research and Design Institute under the Ministry of Agriculture.

The document aims to advance cooperation in sustainable land-use planning, restoring degraded ecosystems, and integrated landscape management.

The project will place particular emphasis on integrated landscape management, restoring degraded ecosystems, supporting sustainable livelihoods, and using scientific evidence and knowledge effectively in environmental decision-making.
