Cooperation with Finland in the digital government discussed
Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov held several meetings during his business trip to Finland.
In particular, the minister met with Kyösti Väkeväinen, Managing Director of the Finnish Institute of Public Management, and with Mikko Mattinen, Head of Unit at the Digital and Population Data Services Agency.


During the meetings, the parties discussed issues related to improving the efficiency and transparency of public services, developing the digital government system, introducing artificial intelligence technologies into public administration, and applying advanced Finnish experience in Uzbekistan.

The parties paid special attention to the practical implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Finnish Institute of Public Management (HAUS), signed during the official visit of the President of the Republic of Finland, Alexander Stubb, to Uzbekistan on October 29 – November 1, 2025.

The parties also exchanged views on prospects for sharing experience, improving specialists’ qualifications, developing the potential of young personnel, and implementing joint initiatives.
