Cooperation in the space industry expands
During his working visit to the United States, the Minister of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan Sherzod Shermatov met with representatives of Axiom Space, Senior Director for International Government Business Garvey McIntosh and Director for Business Development and Strategic Partnerships Noor Ward.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of space technologies and scientific research in Uzbekistan, as well as prospects for expanding international cooperation.
The parties focused on the possible participation in space missions, the introduction of orbital technologies, and support for scientific research.
Axiom Space confirmed its willingness to cooperate with Uzbekistan and announced its intention to participate as a platinum sponsor in the Space Technology Conference STC 2026, to be held in Tashkent from March 30 to April 1, 2026.
The results achieved during the meeting will contribute to the introduction of advanced technologies in the space industry, strengthen international cooperation, and enhance national scientific potential.
