Cooperation between Tashkent region and Bashkortostan expands
An online meeting took place between Zoyir Mirzayev, Hokim of Tashkent region, and Radiy Khabirov, Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan of the Russian Federation.
Recent developments highlight the steady growth of mutually beneficial cooperation between Tashkent region and Bashkortostan. Following the relevant resolution by the President of Uzbekistan, seven investment projects amounting to $235.7 million are underway. These projects help boost the regions’ economic potential, develop new production facilities, and create jobs.

During the meeting, priority was given to developing the Bekabad Technopark, enhancing its infrastructure, and increasing activities. Participants discussed opportunities for joint industrial ventures, speeding up investment projects, expanding trade and economic relations, and strengthening collaboration in agriculture, tourism, and sports.

Following the meeting, agreements were reached to speed up the investment projects, ensure tasks are completed on time, and enhance practical cooperation between Tashkent region and Bashkortostan.
