A meeting between Khavast district Hokim Ulugbek Yuldashev and Chinese investors was held at the district administration.

The discussion focused on converting abandoned land into productive agricultural areas, producing cotton using the “Xinjiang” technology, and establishing a $40 million cotton processing enterprise.

Leaders of the Chinese companies Xuasin and Jiyuan Agricultural intend to introduce modern technologies and organize cotton cultivation jointly with local specialists. This enterprise will not only create jobs but also significantly enhance cotton production and processing capacity in Khavast district.

As noted by representatives of the Khavast district administration and the investment department, this initiative will positively impact the local economy, improve the population’s standard of living, create new jobs, and increase investment flows.
