The first day of the Eighth Children of Asia Games in Yakutsk became successful for Uzbekistan athletes.

On the first day, six young sambo wrestlers from Uzbekistan participated in the championships, and five of them became medalists. Vazira Nurillayeva and Khaydarbek Uroqboyev were awarded gold medals in their weight categories, and Kumushbibi Ergasheva, Sardor Yodgorov, and Davlatjon Kozimov won three bronze medals.

On the first day, Uzbekistan’s national team won 5 medals and became first in the overall standings.
