“Yuksalish” Nationwide Movement held an international roundtable discussion on “Central Asia: From regional collaboration to sustainable growth”.

A primary analysis of the prospects for the growth of Uzbekistan's export potential was presented at the event.

The introduction of customs duties on Uzbekistan goods by importing countries has a negative impact on the country’s exports.

The expansion of mutual access to domestic markets by the Central Asian countries can greatly contribute to the solution of the tasks set by them to increase exports of finished products since these countries are not competitors, but partners in mutual trade in most non-primary goods.

In particular, increasing the export capabilities of commodity producers can contribute to the creation of regional value chains, including industrial and agricultural clusters, which will have a compensating effect on reducing transaction costs.

It was noted that investing in infrastructure projects in Central Asian countries is an important condition for development in the medium term.
