The event was organized by the National Human Rights Centre and Friedrich Ebert Foundation Office in Uzbekistan.

The meeting was attended by deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, representatives of executive and judicial authorities, civil society and education institutions.

Expert from Germany Herta Däubler-Gmelin addressed the event. She has chaired committees on legal affairs, human rights, humanitarian assistance and consumer protection during her activities at Germany’s Parliament.
