Activities on creating a tourist village are carried out in Shirin village of Bukhara’s Vobkent district.
Vobkent is one of the richest districts of Bukhara region with a high tourism potential. It is located 20 km from the city of Bukhara, along M-37 international highway.
The working group led by Deputy Khokim of the region Botirjon Shakhriyorov visits districts of the region with high tourism potential and monitors activities carried out to improve the quality of non-traditional tourism services for both foreign and local tourists.
Responsible persons are tasked to create an exemplary ethno-tourism center, organize additional tourism services and develop a 1-3-day tourist package for this village to demonstrate rural life to tourists.
In addition, work is underway in the center of the village to build Shirin Tourism Complex, which includes a supermarket, pharmacy, beauty salon, information center, sewing shop, tour operator service, post office, air ticket office, gift shop, electrical workshop, barber shop, pastry shop, family guest house, shoe repair shop, clothing store, tea house, bicycle rental and bakery. Construction activities are carried out in accordance with quarantine rules.
