On April 22, negotiations took place between journalists from Uzbekistan and the editors-in-chief of leading publications in Azerbaijan.

The parties discussed issues of cooperation and experience exchange between the journalistic communities of the two countries. The meeting participants exchanged information about their professional activities, discussed current aspects of journalism, and expressed interest in joint projects and initiatives.

One of the main topics of the negotiations was strengthening ties between the journalistic organizations of the two countries and developing partnerships in information exchange. In addition, the importance of interaction between media representatives of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan in the international arena was noted.

“It is gratifying that bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan are strengthening”, said Mr. Sadigov, Editor-in-Chief of the “Azerbaijan” newspaper. “Cooperation will allow us to create a network of true professionals who can quickly cover current events and problems”.

In turn, the Editor-in-Chief of the newspapers “Ishonch” and “Ishonch-Doveriye”, Mr. Ermatov, noted that journalists are the voice of society. Through joint efforts, we can make this voice even stronger and louder.

The parties expressed their intention to actively implement joint projects to strengthen professional ties and improve journalism quality in both countries.
