A delegation from Uzbekistan, led by Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov, was received by the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov, during a working visit to Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan MFA reports.
During the meeting, Mr. Saidov conveyed sincere greetings from the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Head of the friendly state.
The sides stressed the unprecedented dynamics of the development of relations between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan based on the principles of strategic partnership, good neighborliness, and mutual respect. It was noted that thanks to the political will and consistent efforts of the leaders of the two countries, there are no unresolved issues between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
The agenda of bilateral cooperation has acquired a comprehensive and rich character, covering all key areas – from trade and investment to culture and education. Special attention was paid to the implementation of joint projects that will contribute to the sustainable development of not only the two countries, but also the entire region.
The Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan confirmed their readiness to deepen cooperation, including for the practical implementation of all agreements reached at the highest level.
