Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Bochorishvili, during the UNESCO General Conference in Samarkand.

During the talks, the sides discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation. Special attention was paid to strengthening transport connectivity, developing interregional ties, and expanding partnerships in the agriculture, industry, and culture.

The Ministers stressed their mutual interest in further developing constructive dialogue and in implementing joint initiatives to strengthen relations between Uzbekistan and Georgia.
