The subsidiary bank of NBU in Russia, Asia-Invest Bank, is constantly expanding the range of its financial services, creating favorable conditions for customer service and productively interacting with foreign financial institutions.
In 2020, an agreement was reached with the Bank of New York Mellon, a Cooperation Agreement was signed. On 11 January 2021, BNY Mellon opened a correspondent account in US dollars for Asia-Invest Bank.
Cooperation with such a well-known bank contributes to enhancing Asia-Invest Bank’s activities in the international settlements, as well as strengthening the Bank’s status in the banking services market, especially in Russia and Uzbekistan.
A direct correspondent account with BNY Mellon will allow Asia-Invest Bank to carry out more flexible and efficient mutual settlements in US dollars for cross-border payments of clients, and reduce their costs by eliminating commissions from third banks.
