Analysis of the experience of Scandinavian countries in public administration
A meeting with a delegation from the National Board of Trade Sweden was held at the Agency for Strategic Development and Reforms under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
During the negotiations with the First Deputy Director of the Agency Abdulla Abdukadyrov, the Swedish side was represented by Deputy Director of the Department for Trade and Development Cooperation Sara Sandelius and Department Manager Jenny Ikelberg.
At the meeting, detailed information was provided on the reforms being implemented in the country. Particular attention was given to efforts to establish a unified system of strategic planning and to lay the administrative and legal foundations.
Issues related to exchanging experience in developing and implementing strategic documents, improving public administration mechanisms, and introducing modern approaches to planning and evaluating the effectiveness of reforms were discussed.
In adapting advanced international experience to Uzbekistan’s conditions, the relevance of Scandinavian countries’ experience in high institutional development and socially oriented policy was emphasized.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed mutual interest in continuing their cooperation. An agreement was reached to further exchange of experience and to implement effective management solutions.
