The Institute of History of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan hosted an event on “Amir Timur – the Founder of the Timurids Era”.

It was attended by well-known Timur scholars who made presentations.

“A new era has begun in the study of the history of the reign of Amir Timur and the Timurids”, the Director of the Institute, Professor Azamat Ziyo said. – It should be emphasized that during this period, not only in Turkestan, but throughout the entire territory of the empire, development was observed in the socio-economic and cultural spheres.

Dr. Shahram Panahi from Iran, using the example of Amir Timur’s attitude to Persian thinkers, spoke about his great contribution to the scientific and cultural development of Persia.

The report of Professor Musa Şamil Yüksel from Türkiye, which he prepared based on historical manuscripts of the Middle Ages, was devoted to the organization of the state administration system by Amir Timur, the combination of religious and secular knowledge in this process by our great ancestor.

At the event, an edition of the work of the Professor of the Marmara University of Türkiye Ahmet Şimşirgil “Amir Timur”, published in Uzbek, was presented.
