Ambassador of Uzbekistan with the residence in Washington, D.C. Javlon Vakhabov presented his credentials to the Governor General of Canada Julie Payette, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan reports.
At the meeting, which took place after the ceremony in the official residence of the Governor General, the head of Canada noted that Uzbekistan is known thanks to its great history and strategic location in a very important part of the world.
As the Governor General noted, Uzbek science made a significant contribution to space exploration programs by offering unique scientific developments and organizing production of space devices and their components based on them.
