The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Uzbekistan, Alexander Ogorodnikov, met with Deputy Hokim of Khorezm region, Anvar Davletov, and visited several industrial enterprises.

According to the Embassy’s press service, the parties discussed promising areas for expanding trade and economic cooperation. Plans were outlined for mutual supplies, including industrial, meat, and dairy products to the region, as well as fruit and vegetable products, textiles, and other goods to Belarus.

The Ambassador got familiar with wallpaper products at New Best Style LLC in Khazarasp district, discussed cooperation prospects at KovoTex LLC, and addressed localization and auto parts supply issues at the UzAuto plant. He also visited the production of basalt mineral wool at the joint venture Khorezm Insulation Group LLC and explored opportunities for industrial cooperation with Belarusian manufacturers of special equipment at UzXCMG LLC.
