Akmal Saidov to address the 23rd meeting of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe
The 23rd meeting of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) has kicked off in Warsaw to review the implementation of human dimension commitments.
The 23rd meeting of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) has kicked off in Warsaw to review the implementation of human dimension commitments.
Human rights issues are discussed annually at the meeting. This year, 57 OSCE participating states, partners, representatives of international and public organizations from many countries of the world are attending the event.
The delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan included representatives of the chambers of the Oliy Majlis, the Central Election Commission, the National Human Rights Centre, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as non-governmental organizations of Uzbekistan.
Director of the National Human Rights Centre of the Republic of Uzbekistan Akmal Saidov will make report on behalf of Uzbekistan delegation. Members of Uzbekistan delegation will inform the meeting participants about practical measures for development and reforming the country, implementation of the most important and urgent tasks for further democratization, ensuring human rights and freedoms, the rule of law.
The meeting will continue until September 27.
