Akbar Jurayev wins three gold medals at the Asian Weightlifting Championships
The Asian Weightlifting Championships continue in China, where Uzbekistan athletes perform strongly.
Akbar Jurayev claimed three gold medals in the up to 109 kg weight category. He recorded lifts of 183 kg in the snatch, 223 kg in the clean and jerk, and a total of 406 kg.
Sharofiddin Amriddinov earned the silver medal with results of 181 kg in the snatch, 214 kg in the clean and jerk, and a total of 395 kg.
Tursunoy Jabborova secured a bronze medal in her weight category with a lift of 108 kg.
