Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Mali with a residence in Moscow, Tiefing Konate.

On November 20, 2019, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Mali with a residence in Moscow, Tiefing Konate.

Accepting credentials, the Minister congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment to a high and responsible post and wished him successful work.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, prospects for development of interaction in various formats, in particular within the framework of the United Nations and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, were discussed at the meeting.

Interest was expressed in joint work on creation of the legal framework of bilateral relations.

The parties also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
