Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov attended the launching ceremony of the Economic Empowerment of Afghan Women through Education and Training in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan Program.

He noted that the European Union's Program for training Afghan women in agriculture, applied sciences and mining represent a unique opportunity to involve them in social and political life of the country. EU projects in this area are very promising, including, EU – Uzbekistan – Afghanistan trilateral cooperation for training Afghan students, including women at educational center in Termez. This contributes to training highly qualified specialists for Afghanistan.

Confidence was expressed that common targeted actions will contribute to solution of the whole range of tasks facing the Afghan society.
