Observers from Egypt, led by the Chairman of the Solidarity, Family and Persons with Disabilities Committee of the House of Representatives (Lower House) of Egypt Abdel Hadi Al-Qasabi, who arrived in Uzbekistan to observe the Presidential elections met with deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis.

Deputy of the Legislative Chamber Qodir Jurayev informed guests about the ongoing work to improve the electoral system and electoral legislation in Uzbekistan. He also spoke about the commonality, closeness of history, culture, religious unity of Egypt and Uzbekistan, as well as about the relations between the two countries.

Abdel Hadi Al-Qasabi noted the close ties between the two peoples, their historical community, and expressed his opinion on the changes and updates, the electoral process in Uzbekistan.

During the conversation, Abdel Hadi Al-Qasabi also spoke about the Egyptian Parliament, focused on the need to strengthen inter-parliamentary relations.

The guest wished Uzbekistan people success in the elections.
