On March 4, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with the Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.

During the conversation, serious concern was expressed about the escalation of the situation in the Middle East and the strikes on various infrastructure facilities in the country. It was emphasized that such negative actions contradict the principles of international law, and in these difficult times, Uzbekistan stands in solidarity with the friendly people of Kuwait.

It was noted that any actions posing a serious threat to the peace and safety of the population must be immediately ceased.

Taking the opportunity, the President of Uzbekistan expressed special gratitude for the practical assistance provided to citizens of Uzbekistan currently in the country. He also conveyed warm greetings to His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

In turn, the Crown Prince of Kuwait, on behalf of the leadership and the people of the country, expressed deep gratitude to the Leader of Uzbekistan for the friendly support and solidarity shown during this difficult time.
